TASKS:
You will learn about all of the different shapes by clicking on these three links and their following activities. Make sure you pay close attention to the different shapes you find in these activities!

1. Shape Identification of squares, circles, and triangles Kids Online Resources (OLR) Learning is Fun

After you click on the link you will be brought to a web page. Click the link that says shapes and do the activity by clicking the next pencil after each page. Close the web page by clicking on the red circle at the top of the page when you're done.

2. Sammy&s Shapes
Read all about the different shapes Sammy the Snake can make with his body!

3. Hidden Shapes
Find all of the hidden shapes in the picture. Be sure that you do both activities. Have fun!


PROCESS AND EVALUATION:
Open Kidspiration 2 and click on the picture icon. Move your cursor to the red triangle and move down to the math section where you will click on shapes. Next, click on the icon of the paintbrush. You will need to draw all of the shapes we've learned so far. You must draw and label triangles, stars, squares, rectangles, diamonds, hearts, and circles. After you identify all of the shapes, use the shapes to make a picture. Print out your shapes and the picture and color them. This is what you will be graded on. Be sure to hand it in with your name on it!

CONCLUSION:
You should now be able to identify squares, triangles, circles, rectangles, stars, diamonds, and hearts. Remember to look for all of the different shapes around you!
