A note from the POM's creator, Ms. Ilieva:

When teaching equation of a circle, I’ve noticed that many students have trouble understanding the role of the constants in the equation and how they actually affect the circle, its location, and its size. That’s why I decided to look for activities that demonstrate these relationships in an interactive form. In this assignment, the students manipulate the values of the constants themselves and observe and record the related changes in a circle. Then they have to use these observations and their already existing knowledge about equation of a circle to write an equation of randomly generated circle in the coordinate plane.
